Important terms governing the use of the RealWage calculator, Shift Log, and educational tax and take-home pay guides.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RealWage (https://realwage.app/), including the Take-Home Pay Calculator, Paycheck Splitter, Shift Log, and Resource Guides, you agree to these Terms of Service. RealWage is owned and operated by house603 digital solutions ("HOUSE603", "we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the site.
2. Educational & Planning Purpose Only (No Tax, Legal, or Financial Advice)
Not a substitute for professional advice. All calculations, tax reserve estimates, mileage allowances, vehicle maintenance reserves, and editorial guides on RealWage are provided strictly for general informational and personal planning purposes. Nothing on RealWage constitutes professional tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice, nor does use of RealWage create an accountant-client or advisor-client relationship.
Tax laws, IRS standard mileage rates, CRA automobile allowance rates, FICA/CPP/EI thresholds, and state or provincial income tax brackets change periodically and depend on individual factors that a simplified calculator does not collect (including filing status, household income from other sources, dependents, itemized deductions, QBI deductions, and vehicle depreciation elections). 3. Non-Affiliation with Platforms & Agencies
RealWage is an independent utility published by house603 digital solutions. References to third-party platforms (such as Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Spark, or Grubhub) and government tax agencies (such as the IRS or CRA) are for descriptive and educational comparison only. RealWage is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any gig-economy platform or government agency.
4. On-Device Data Storage & User Backup Responsibility
RealWage operates without user accounts or server-side databases. Calculator inputs and Shift Log entries are stored exclusively in your local web browser's localStorage. Because we do not store or back up your data on any server:
- Clearing your browser cache/site data, using private/incognito browsing, or losing or resetting your device will permanently erase your locally stored shifts.
- You are solely responsible for exporting and safeguarding your own records using the Export (JSON backup) and Mileage Log (CSV) features on the Shift Log tab.
5. Intellectual Property
All source code, calculation logic, visual design, brand assets, and original editorial guides on RealWage are the intellectual property of house603 digital solutions and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may use the calculator and export your own shift CSV/JSON files for personal or business tax-planning use, but you may not republish, scrape, or redistribute our editorial guides or application code without prior written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
RealWage is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, house603 digital solutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including tax penalties, interest, underpayment or overpayment of estimated taxes, or loss of data arising out of or connected with your use of or reliance on RealWage.
